INSPECTIONS

Metal Roof Tech, Inc. provides two types of inspections; a Level One Inspection and a Level Two Inspection.

  • Level One Inspections are a visual inspection of all the installed roof system components. It will identify all similar roof deficiencies, but not locate every single deficiency. These roof inspections are conducted on new installations and existing installations. Generally on new installations there are (3) Level One Inspections. These inspections are documented with a written report summarizing the roof conditions and providing a correction method that will assure that the roof maintains the water tight integrity it was designed to perform. These inspections generally require a minimum of 4-6 hours each. Larger roof areas will require additional time.
  • Level Two Inspections are generally for existing roof systems with ongoing or deteriorating conditions. This inspection will identify and locate each and every deficiency on the roof. Each deficiency will be marked on a roof plan with grid numbers and panel numbers to locate the deficiency. The roof plan is incorporated into the written report with photos, and a correct repair method is provided to bring the roof system back to a water tight condition. In some cases this will also allow the manufacturer to reinstate the warranty. These inspections are generally highly time consuming. They require a great deal of time and expertise to accomplish properly.
